Certified to teach English from 7th to 12th grade, I can work with students of all ages and help them focus on their potential and strengthen their abilities in any area of concern. In addition, I am a certified Reading Specialist for kindergarten through 12th grade. I have taught high school for over nine years, teaching all levels of English including 9th grade Honors, College Prep and AP Language and Composition, and even remedial English. I have instructed Reading, Writing up to SAT level, Essay Editing, Grammar, and Mechanics, British Literature, in addition to Expository, Fiction, Poetry, and Persuasive Writing. Test prep for ACT and SAT exams is something I can help with too.I am honored every time I get to be a tutor. Since a young age, I have been passionate about Education and even taught "lessons" to my younger siblings long before I started studying to be a teacher. I enjoy creating lessons as much as I did then. When in school, I attended Fairfield and Sacred Heart. I now live in Trumbull, Connecticut. Aside from teaching/tutoring, my interests include reading, running, going to the movies, and spending time with my family and my dogs.
